2008-10-01 [Lothuriel]: Well, Moira there is a very thick black shadow around the base of her arm...I didn't want to put more shadow on it. 

2008-10-01 [moira hawthorne]: no I meant the closed in space above her arm framed by her arm hair and face which should be in shadow... and is lighter than the rest of the dress... but if thats the way you like it ill shut up

2008-10-04 [Alexi Ice]: Of course, but in official contest there are usually seperate sections for art and photography. Writing is a form of art also, but ET tends to break it down into more distinct categories. ^^ For the halloween section, the photography contest just happens to be a costume contest.

2008-10-04 [Jitter]: - drawings must be well shaded and/or coloured. They also have to have some kind of background. Sketches will not be accepted.


[HardRockAngel], you should work on yours more if you want it to compete :) It's a very nice picture and it would be a shame if it didn't make it!

PS- Frames and/or dropping shadows work as well if the image is coloured, we just want to avoid the sketch feel

2008-10-11 [Jitter]: Maybe a little more colour to the background :3 No need to make a whole enviroment, just a plaque colour gives a feeling of completeness. But that's my opinion :P I rarely do proper backgrounds

He was simply having a temper tantrum.

2008-10-20 [Paul Doyle]: Ace Frehley came back in 2002, but then he was permanently replaced by Tommy Thayer, who is an awesome musician but really ought to have his own "character" the way Eric Carr and Vinnie Vincent had in the early 1980s just before they took off the makeup the first time. Eric Singer is wearing the Catman getup now.

A shame Eric Carr died. A local radio station had a running contest with "Artists of the day" and the artists was "dead singers" They got everyone by playing Eric Carr's Version of Beth from Smashes Trashes and Hits. The one Guy who called in got a huge prize as well as the contest's normal registered to win weekly and grand prize
